http://www.factcheck.org/  Fact Check monitors the factual accuracy of the major political players on TV ads, debates, speeches, interview and news releases. This is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

http://www.spinsanity.org  Spinsanity  is a non-partisan watchdog site dedicated to unspinning misleading claims from politicians, pundits and the press. Founded in 2001 by Ben Fritz, Bryan Keefer, and Brendan Nyhan, three college graduates who were distressed at the growing dominance of spin in American politics and determined to do something about it.

http://www.mediafordemocracy.us  Non-partisan citizens’ initiative to monitor mainstream news coverage of the 2004 elections and advocate standards of reporting. Provides alerts, breaking news and analysis. Run by MediaChannel.org

http://www.readmylipz.com/about.cfm  Red My Lipz.com is a privately funded non-partisan media service developed to survey and report on the impact of political media campaigns. Believability and interest are tracked by sampling a cross section of voters. A project of HCD Research and Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO). There is also a Rumor Mill where you can post gossip about the Busy-Kerry campaigns.

Hanging chads, absentee ballots, touchscreen machines, legislation, commission reports and more.

http://www.blackboxvoting.org/  A publicly funded consumer projection organization for elections. Organized by Bev Harris, author of Black Box Voting: Ballot-Tampering in the 21st Century. Numerous reports on current voting machine flaws; updates on the Diebold investigation, errors to security and other voting and election issues.

http://www.verifiedvoting.org  Verified Voting Foundation, Inc and Verified Voting org., Inc. advocating reliable and publicly verifiable elections. Promoting use of voter-verified paper ballots. The site reviews litigation, policy at the state and federal level and offers avenues for citizen action.
