MIT List of Radio Stations on the Internet - http://wmbr.mit.edu/stations/list.html The most comprehensive list of radio stations on the Internet. Over 7500 stations. They began compiling the list of stations in 1994 as stations started to publish on the Web. There was a need for a master list and it continues to grow. The radio stations can be searched by call letters, frequency, city or state. Careful maintenance and upgrading is the work of webmaster Theodric Young at WMBR-FM.
Alphabetic List of News and Political Links - http://www1.mhv.net/~btuchman/links.html We have found another list of political links. This list is quite extensive. It is unusual in the sense that everything is in alphabetical order, from news and political links to left, right, party, policy, and political organizations. It can be searched in one source. The list was established and is maintained by Bruce Tuchman.
FedWorld Information Network - http://www.fedworld.gov Comprehensive central access point for searching, locating, ordering and acquiring government and business information. In 1992, FedWorld was established by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), an agency of the U.S. Dept of Commerce, to serve as an online locator service for a comprehensive inventory of information disseminated by the Federal Government. It has grown in its scope and reach. You can find everything from Federal Job announcements to statistical abstracts.
Follow hate groups on the Web - http://www.wiesenthal.com/watch/index.html Among the wide range of services of the Simon Wiesenthal Center is their monitoring of worldwide hate groups. We found this section of particular interest because of the enormous proliferation of these groups on the Web and the potential for disseminating their message to a wider audience. Their On Alert Cyberwatch page compiles and reports the use of the Internet by hate groups. It is interactive, with a hotline available to individuals and organizations to report their experiences.
