Field Organizer Employer: Nevada for Health Care, SEIU Nevada for Health Care is looking for motivated, organized, and dedicated Field Organizers to work on a grassroots educational campaign to raise the national voice on health care around the early presidential caucuses in Nevada. Field staff will sign-up and organize \"Health Care Voters\" to elevate the issue of health care in the presidential caucuses and to help educate presidential candidates and voters on the importance of national health care reform. Job begins September 2007; headquarters location in Las Vegas with travel throughout the state. Job guaranteed through the Nevada presidential caucuses with possible extension through the general election and beyond. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Help execute plan to educate voters and presidential candidates on
health care issues, including candidate shadowing, phone banking,
canvassing, and get out the vote activities with Health Care Voters in the
caucuses.
