Bruce poliquin (R, ME, 2nd CD); 12. David Young (R, IA, 3rd CD). Democrats must net 30 seats to win a majority in the House.

    Sen. Marco Rubio (FL, R) may decide to run for re-election to the Senate after all. Rep. David Jolly (FL, R) has bowed out of the race and will now run for the House again. Jolly will be pitted against former Gov. Charlie Crist (D). Redistricting has changed the profile of his district, adding Democratic voters. (Politico).

    NC- District 3 – Rep.Walter Jones faces a rematch against Taylor Griffin
    NC – District 9 – Can Rep. two-term Rep. Robert Pittenger hold on to his seat
    CA-  District 17 – Rep. Mike Honda (D), faces serious challenge by Ro Khanna (D
    CA – District –24  Race to succeed retiring Rep. Lois Caps. GOP State Rep. Katcho Achadjian and Supervisor Salud Carbajal (D) will likely be on the November ballot.
    IA – District 1 – Freshman Rep. Rod Blum (R) will probably face City Councilwoman Monica Vernon (D).

    FL news - Nine Florida House members and one senator are retiring this year, driven in part by a dramatic redistricting plan, term limits on chairmanships and, in the case of Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, a bid for the White House. That’s a third of the state’s delegation, the highest turnover rate among large states in 2016. (Roll Call). 
    This could affect the voting in November. FL is a pivotal presidential state.
