*CA- Rep. Darrell Issa(R) formed a political organization, Rescue California, to aid in his campaign to recall Gov. Gray Davis. Former Mayor of Los Altos Hill Toni Casey (R) is challenging Sen. Barbara Boxer (D).
*FL- Add Rep. Dave Weldon (R) to the list interested in Sen. Bob Graham’s (D) seat.
*OH – Talk Show Host Jerry Springer (D) may join St. Sen. Eric Fingerhut (D) to challenge Sen. George Voinovich(R).
*TX –Spec. election: Rep. Larry Combest (R) seat has 17 candidates – w/ June run-off.
*GA-Vacant Johnny Isakson(R) seat has St Sen. Tom Price (R), St. Sen Robert Lamutt (R) and possibly St. Rep Robert Hines (R) in a Repub. Primary next year.
*KY – Rep. Ken Lucas (D) has 4 Repub. Challengers: Former Campbell Cty Judge Llod Rogers (R), Current Ccampbell Cty Judge Steve Pendery (R), Kevin Murphy (R) and Geoff Davis (R).
*PA – Rep. Pat Toomey (R) is challenging Sen. Arlen Spector (R) in a Repub. Primary.
