How are preparations for the the January 12, 1999 Winter Meeting going?	Committee on Arrangements (COA) meets on January 12 (before the winter meetings). The COA is composed of 62 RNC members - at least one from each state and all three from the host state of Pennsylvania. During the winter meeting (January 13 - 15, 2000) in San Jose, CA the COA will break into its 12 subcommittees: Facilities Program Security Transportation Entertainment News Media Housing, Family Youth, Special Events Technology Tickets Badges Volunteers.
What is the status of press planning	The COA News Media Subcommittee and others will meet with 500 represenatives of the news media in Philadelphia December 1 and 2
