FL- Open seat -18th CD – Rep. Patrick Murphy running for Senate. Randy Perkins (D,FL) will face Brian Mast (R,FL). Race is a toss up. Perkins spent $ 3 million of his own money in the Primary. Mast, who lost both legs in an IED explosion in Afghanistan, will be a tough opponent. (Roll Call)

FL Senate Primary winners; Sen. Marco Rubio (R,FL) will face Rep. Patrick Murphy (D,FL) in the Fall election.
FL- Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D,FL,former DNC Chairwoman) easily won her primary. Her opponent raisedmore than $3.3. million (Bernie Sanders supporters).
FL- Rep. Corrine Brown (FL,D) was defeated in the redrawn 5th District. She was indicted in July on fraud charges. Al Lawson, former State Legislator won 47% of the vote. This is a safe Dem. seat.

Sen. Marco Rubio (FL, R) may decide to run for re-election to the Senate after all. Rep. David Jolly (FL, R) has bowed out of the race and will now run for the House again. Jolly will be pitted against former Gov. Charlie Crist (D). Redistricting has changed the profile of his district, adding Democratic voters. (Politico).
